I strongly believe in the ideals of equality, justice, and peace.  I am most interested in ideas and actions that lend themselves to create an environmentally sustainable, socially just, and spiritually fulfilling world for all of humanity.  Therefore, I’m a Democrat because I believe the Democratic Party best aligns with the fulfillment of these ideas and actions.

If we look at the school lunch program at Fort Bend ISD we find today 36% of the school children qualify for the free and reduced lunch program.  As a Fort Bend Democrat I am astonished at this statistic and I want to work with all Fort Bend Democrats to eliminate this condition by tearing down unjust social and economic structures.

Fort Bend County has the largest coal plant in the state of Texas spewing massive amounts of climate changing Carbon Dioxide.  It also emits large quantities of Nitrous Oxides, Sulphur Dioxides, and Mercury that are bad for our health.  As a Fort Bend Democrat I want to work with all Fort Bend Democrats to convert this coal plant to a natural gas plant so that we can drastically improve the air quality in Fort Bend County for all of our residents.
