Get Involved, the following FBCDP Working Committees need your expertise...

• Communications Committee The Communications Committee shall articulate clearly and effectively the position of the FBCDP on issues and ideas. The Communications Committee will promote the Democratic message through all available media of communication as approved by the Executive Committee.
  
  
• Community Outreach And Events Committee The Community Outreach and Events Committee shall mobilize Democratic activists/affiliates based on common geographical, demographic, or issue-specific interests for the purpose of increasing involvement and participation in the political process by individuals throughout Fort Bend County and supporting the activities of the FBCDP and assist the chair in organizing various functions and events for the FBCDP.
  
  
• Database And Precinct Development Committee The Database and Precinct Development Committee shall assist Precinct Chairs in organizing the voters in his/her precinct, maintain and update a database of FBCDP leaders, precinct chairs and democratic voters in Fort Bend County with the assurance that data gathered by the party is used ethically for the purposes of party business only; and privacy and security of information is honored.
  
  
• Election And Ethics Committee The Elections and Ethics committee shall develop and implement and implement program designed to recruit and assist qualified candidates to seek the FBCDP nomination in the primary election and the FBCDP nomination for election to public office in the general election as the nominee of the FBCDP.
  
  
• Finance Committee The Finance Committee shall raise sufficient funds for the FBCDP to be able to perform its political, administrative and other functions effectively. The committee shall organize and oversee the Annual Dinner/Rally; sustaining membership, internet fundraising, large donors, telephone solicitation, fundraising events, and new sources of funds.
  
  
• Team Building And Training Committee The Team Building and Training Committee shall recruit and train volunteers to contribute time and talents to the operation of the FBCDP, enhance the effectiveness of the FBCDP by bringing together various constituencies and resources to find ways for Democrats to work together more harmoniously and effectively; to work with others to achieve mutual objectives, and increase the involvement and participation in and support of the FBCDP by elected officials; conduct activities such as precinct chair training, chair’s roundtables, building coalitions, organizing past chairs council, identifying consultants and trainers for FBCDP leader, volunteers and candidates.
  
  
• Voter Registration Committee The Voter Registration Committee shall increase Democratic voter turn-out by organizing voter registration, GOTV, voter identification, voter contact and providing voter education.
  
  
• Young Democrats Future Leaders Committee The Young Democrats – Future Leaders Committee shall inspire active participation in FBCDP affairs, and ultimately, loyalty to the principles of the FBCDP, by persons under 30 years of age, and to develop leaders from among these individuals by working with organizations of high school and college students.
